Prof. Dr. Christoph Wittmann ist seit April 2009 geschäftsführender Leiter des Institutes für Bioverfahrenstechnik.

Er ist stellvertretender Sprecher des SFB 578 Integration gen- und verfahrenstechnischer Methoden zur Entwicklung biotechnologischer Prozesse - Vom Gen zum Produkt.
